Hannah Lawrence went one stage further than last year at the Nottingham Open. After knocking out Megan lomas in the semi-final she had no problems in the final; beating Naveen Rahman 15-12 to win her second open epee competition. Alice Lawrence finished 39th. In the ladies foil Helen Solly finished an excellent 24th.
The mens epee saw Tony Klenczar placed 16th, Tom Chrisp 35th and Ev Van Gemeren 57th.
Another excellent day for Wingerworth.
