The national rankings for June 2007 have been added to the fencer page. We now have ten fencers appearing on the national rankings; Hannah Lawrence is still the highest ranked fencer at 27 in the ladies epee. Three fencers took big leaps this month on the mens epee rankings; Tom Chrisp up 52 places to 185; Chris morgan up 113 places to 199 and Ev Van Gemeren up 64 to 245; Andy Moroz entered the rankings at 398 now he is competing again. Ev also got onto the sabre rankings with a good result at the Sheffield open he is placed 178. Helen Solly carried on up the Ladies foil rankings moving another 8 places to 92.
Last weekend Tony Klenczar and Hannah Lawrence represented the East Midlands region in the Southcomb cup team event at Stoke; The EM team finished second overall and have been promoted to div 1 (Winton cup) next year.
